YAMATAKE has released a GTX pressure transmitter that is designed to improve safety in plant operations.
According to the company, the AT9000 transmitter delivers the world’s highest level of performance to safety instrumented systems used in petrochemical, petroleum and chemical plants.
The unit uses a new type of Piezo resistive pressure sensor to achieve long-term stability for which the zero drift is ±0.1% for ten years.
The product features a response time of less than 100ms and can be used for applications which were previously incompatible with transmitters equipped with micro-computers.
The GTX pressure transmitter is available from AMS Instrumentation and Calibration.
