LACROSSE Footwear has released a 100% waterproof and breathable leather boot for use in harsh mining environments.
According to the company, the Longwall Metatarsal boot is designed to keep feet dry, comfortable and sweat-free in extreme conditions.
The product features GORE-TEX lining and a triple-stitched, abrasion-resistant upper for optimum comfort and protection.
It also has a non-metallic toe, Flex-Shield II midsole and floating MetFlex metatarsal guard that meets certified ASTM impact standards.
According to the manufacturer, the boot features reflective panelling for optimum safety and visibility underground and is available with a removable fatigue-fighter footbed for cushioning comfort.
