Lear Sieglar says that the unit also features one-button operation which reduces time spent on training the user. It has an integral concussion-proof boot for rugged environments and a stainless steel alligator clip.
The BW GasAlertMicroClip multi gas detector has four alarm levels, instant low and high alarm for all gases, TWA (time weighted average) and STEL (short term exposure limit). It is equipped with internal vibrating alarm for high noise areas, is powered by a lithium polymer battery with the run time of 12 hours and recharges quickly.
