Cybermine training simulator systems improve safety for learners

  • Published: 03/03/2009

THOROUGHTEC has recently released its Cybermine training simulator systems which enhance the safety of individuals learning to operate heavy machinery globally.

ThoroughTec Simulation Executive Director Dr John Waltham says high fidelity levels are the direct result of the seamless integration of audio, visual and motion cues, coupled to accurate replication of both physical and functional characteristics of the cab being simulated.

The company says it has selected and developed virtual simulation feedback systems to ensure accurate replication of the behaviour of real equipment.

The company’s Cybermine series offers both three and six degree of freedom (3-DOF and 6-DOF) motion platforms, based on electric actuator and technologies.
