CAPITAL Safety is pleased to announce the release of a range of new DBI-SALA Lifeline solutions for the mining industry.
The Mastsayf Vertical Lifeline System and the evolution 200 Horizontal Lifeline System makes up the range.
Capital Safety says that the Mastsayf system provides a unique fall protection solution for persons climbing towers, whilst the evolution 200 system addresses the needs of inadequate overhead anchorage structures and lengthy spans.
The evolution 200 Horizontal Lifeline System provides up to 61 metres of hands-free mobility, allowing for freedom of movement and increased productivity, ideal for railcar and tanker inspection, loading and unloading, and mass transit vehicle inspection. The system, which is designed to attach to DBI-SALA StrongArm Frames to provide an overhead anchorage point, or to a suitable structure, requires fewer support stanchions than traditional horizontal lifelines. This reduces overhead obstructions, installation time and costs.
The high-tension design reduces fall clearance requirements to 4.2 metres on a 61 metre system. The single line setup supports one user, but a second line can be added to accommodate two users for added versatility.
Capital Safety the Mastsayf Flexible Cable System provides complete safety and security for workers who need to climb towers in the mining industry. The system offers hands free operation and absolute fall protection allowing users to ascend or descend completely unrestricted, providing freedom of movement and increased productivity.
The Mastsayf system has been designed for easy installation and is ideal for use as either a permanent or temporary climbing system.
