ANSELL has released its HyFlex 11-435 gloves in response to the need for high level hand protection in the mining industry.
The HyFlex 11-435 provides day long comfort for people handling sharp or slippery objects and materials.
Sales and Marketing Director, Jerome Feuvrier, says the glove had been developed for people working in environments where they are required to handle materials including slightly oily parts, sharp objects, components and sheet metal.
Feuvrier says the gloves have been engineered from a proprietary composite of nylon, fibreglass and Dyneema. The silicone-free HyFlex is antistatic, while the glove’s liner provides excellent breathability and a "cool" feeling. Its unique design prevents polyurethane penetration through the glove liner, resulting in a softer, more natural feel on the skin.
According to Ansell, this knitted and seamless, 13-gauge supported and dipped cut resistant level 5 glove provides extreme resistance to cuts, abrasions and burrs and complies with AS/NZS 2161.3:2005. At the same time, its ergonomic design is said to significantly reduce user fatigue by minimising resistance to normal hand and finger movements.
The HyFlex 11-435 gloves have excellent washability ensures prolonged service life. Trials at major European glass, automotive and aerospace companies listed cut resistance, comfort and grip as the glove's top three attributes.
