Sperian releases improved earplugs

Sperian[XML1]  has released the Howard Leight Pilot hybrid push-in style earplugs.
The earplugs are designed to be an alternative to roll down foam models and can be used over several days or shifts without it impacting overall performance.
With a smooth pear-skinned surface for enhanced resilience against dirt build up, the Pilot is easy to clean and hygienic when compared to ear plugs with coarser skins which may collect dirt more easily, making it ideal for use in dirty mining environments.
The earplugs feature a slow recovery polyurethane tip with a foam/stem ratio (FSR) of 80% foam to 20% steam construction.
The Pilot earplugs provide hearing protection in any noise environment from 100dB to less than 105dB.
The push-in style earplugs are also available in corded and non-corded models.
