A NEW water-conserving dust suppressant will hit the stands at this year’s Goldfields Mining Expo (GME), to be held at the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Racing Club in October 2008.

Vital Chemical will exhibit the fully biodegradable suppressant, which is said to provide a cost-effective option for dust control and soil stabilisation.

According to the company, the formula improves visibility and equipment productivity, and reduces accident risk and equipment wear and maintenance.

The suppressant is said to conserve water resources, produces cleaner air, and is described as completely safe for users.

The Vital Bon-Matt dust suppressant series is available in three different formulas to suit a range of applications.
