PENRICE has invited government toxicology experts to test dust from its Angaston limestone and marble mine to put to rest community health concerns.

The miner says very comfortable that there is no adverse effect on human or animal health for that matter from the dust. It claims to take health and safety very seriously.

Penrice has carried out a lot of dust monitoring effectively on behalf of its workers to make sure the levels of dust doesn't pose a problem to them.

The community is not content with the company’s testing and residents say they will be setting up their own dust monitoring devices.
