Hang Ten at 10am: WorkCover NSW

WORKCOVER NSW is encouraging miners to take a ten minutes break at 10am each day to boost safety in Australian mines.

WorkCover is promoting the initiative, dubbed ‘Take Ten at Ten’ as part of Safe Work Australia Week from 19 to 25 October 2008.

It aims to promote the importance of safety as well as the benefits of workplace health and safety programs.

WorkCover says safe and healthy workplaces can have positive impacts on morale, health and productivity.
