ILUKA Resources has awarded Exact Mining Services (EMS) the mining contract for the Jacinth-Ambrosia operations.

The roles will range from mobile equipment operators to safety, administration and management positions.

The company says that representatives have undertaken a familiarisation tour of the site and will undergo Iluka’s environment, health and safety inductions in the near future.

During the peak of activity on site, EMS will utilise up to 12 pieces of mobile equipment to meet the earth moving requirements of the operation.

EMS chief executive officer Greg Rhodes is confident in the future success of the partnership.
