THE HUNTER Valley’s Drayton mine expansion will also include safety improvements.

These improvements include upgrades to haulage road infrastructure and other safety advancements to the mine site.

Drayton is a joint venture of Anglo Coal Australia, Mitsui, Hyundai and Daesung.

The group was recently granted approval for the extension which will see the mine have access to an additional one million tonnes of coal.
